The Met Gala was the ultimate mam's night out
Well, for the rich and famous anyway...
The Met Gala was back after a two-year hiatus with a theme of 'American Independence.'
But American liberty wasn't the only liberation the Met had going on last night, as our fave celebrity mams took to the red carpet and stunned after a year-and-a-bit of, well, not going to this sorta thing.
Yeah okay, attending the Met Gala in designer gear might be a tad different from our reality of popping down to the newly-reopened local child-free for a pint after wearing nothing but jammies and tracksuits for well over a year, but still.
Take a look at these glam mams from Met Gala 2021.
Gigi looked the picture of old Hollywood glam in Prada. September has been a busy month for the model, with New York Fashion Week and the soon-to-be first birthday of her daughter Khai, who she welcomed with boyfriend Zayn Malik last year.
Kim has been going between Matrix-esque outfits and faceless looks lately, and she brought that same energy to the Met. Sure, it's all in the name of Balenciaga Haute Couture, but we reckon hilariously outspoken daughter North might tease her over it.
Emily Blunt turned 'star-spangled banner' into 'star-spangled headpiece.' Wearing custom Miu Miu, the mam-of-two was a modern Ziegfeld Girl.
After turning heads at the VMAs at the weekend, Megan was ready for yet another fashion moment as she stunned in custom Dundas. This time the mam-of-three took to the carpet without boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly.
JLo served Cowgirl Couture realness in Ralph Lauren and her own beauty line. Kinda jealous of her daughter tbh – imagine being 13 years old and having JLo's wardrobe to raid?!
Nothing says "all American" like a tribute to American football, which is what stunning Ciara gave. In a custom Dundas gown, the mam-of-three referenced husband Russell Wilson's jersey number.
Not only did Ilana Glazer stun in Aliétte, the Broad City star took time out of the night's glamour to pump as she's still breastfeeding.
Kate Hudson was a Barbie dream with a touch of flapper girl in Michael Kors. The mam-of-three looked pretty in pink after announcing her engagement to Danny Fujikawa.
