All we can say is – better late than never.
Yup, apparently Wayne Rooney is being waaaaaay more hands on with baba No.4.
The footballer, married to Coleen for almost a decade, has been a proud dad since Kai arrived more than eight years ago.
Since then, little Klay, five, and Kit, two, have also been welcomed into the family.
However, if recent reports from The Daily Star are to be believed, it’s only now with newborn Cass Mac that Wayne is actually… changing nappies.
*God help his poor wife.*
It seems that friends of the Rooneys say Wayne has “never been so involved” and that Coleen is being made to “feel like a princess” – and that means getting properly stuck-in.
They also explained: “They’re seriously more loved up than they’ve ever been. He’s smitten with Cass Mac and he’s even been changing nappies, which is a first.”
Of course, during her fourth pregnancy, Mr Rooney, 32, was caught partying with Laura Simpson on a drunken night out – and it’s not the first time he’s weather accusations of marital indiscretion either.

In November, in a lengthy Facebook post, Ms Rooney, 31, addressed the state of her marriage:
“A few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try and work on.”
And she added:
“I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don’t want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do.
“I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point.”
Cass is the couple’s fourth son and arrived on Thursday, February 15 weighing in at 8lbs 10oz.
