We all know someone with a set of Irish twins and it looks like they're not just an Irish phenomenon.
Australian soap star Christie Hayes has spoken about conceiving again shortly after becoming a mum for the first time.
The actress, 31, is mum to two boys, four-year-old Hendrix and three-year-old Harley, whom she had just 11 months apart.
She found out that she was pregnant again when Hendrix was just six weeks old.
Rather than actively trying for another baby straight away as some couples do, Kristy said that she and husband Daniel White had gone the entire pregnancy without getting frisky and were simply keen to get back to it.
"I was interested in sex straight away," she told Mamamia’s parenting podcast This Glorious Mess.
"Nine months to go without sex is quite a long time.
"But I missed my husband and we were kind of missing each other."
She admitted that many people were shocked to find herself pregnant again so quickly, as was she.
But she's happy with her lot, she added, and said that watching her two boys grow up so close in age has been lovely.
