Trinny Woodall has spoken openly and honestly about her struggle to get pregnant through IVF.

The TV presenter and fashion guru said today that she underwent nine rounds of the treatment and experienced two miscarriages before she welcomed her daughter, Lyla 14 years ago.

She told Philip and Holly on This Morning that she thought deciding to have a baby would be “simple.”

“Around 34 I started that journey of wanting to have a baby. I took a long time to realise I was ready to be a mum, and then you think it would be simple.”

However, Trinny said that she miscarried the first time she became pregnant.

She then discovered that she had “a bad case of infertility.

“And then it happened again and I lost it. I had a few times of feeling pregnant and then not being pregnant.

“I had never given up but never thought it was going to happen.”

In 2003, Trinny’s daughter Lyla was born after years of struggling to conceive.

Her husband, Johnny Elichaoff, passed away in 2014.

Trinny is best known for her presenting skills and not-so-harsh criticism on What Not To Wear.

She began hosting the programme alongside Sussanah Constantine over a decade ago.
