3 soothing homemade ice lollies for teething tots… whatever the weather

HerFamily

These soothing ice lollies are perfect for teething tots, regardless of the temperature outside.

They’re easy to make too, especially if you’re already whipping up batches of baby food. Simply fill ice lolly moulds with your homemade puree, then freeze.

There are loads of different flavours you can combine, but if you need some inspiration, here are three delicious recipes to get you started…

1. Avocado and pear

Remove the skin from avocados and pears, before chopping and blending until smooth. Fill the ice lolly moulds with the puree and freeze.

2. Carrot, mango and raspberry

Cut carrots into large chunks and boil until tender. Drain then cool for 5-10 minutes. Peel the mango and cut the flesh from the pit. Cut into large chunks, then place in a blender with the cooked carrots, fresh raspberries and water. Pour the puree into the moulds and freeze until solid. To remove the raspberry seeds and mango fibres, push the puree through a strainer before pouring into the moulds.

3. Strawberry and banana
