Corrie’s Julia Goulding has returned to filming as Shona Ramsey

Coronation Street's Julia Goulding has returned to filming on the long-running soap.

The news was revealed on social media, as Corrie shared the Saturday sneak peak at what would be going on in the next few days. "Guess who was back filming with us this week? We've missed you @juliagoulding #SaturdaySneakPeek #Corrie #BehindTheScenes," they captioned the brief clip of the actress. "Hi everyone, you may be wondering why I am wearing my Coronation Street warm coat - it's 'cause Shona's back," Goulding said in a video, with a laugh.

The actress announced in May that she and her husband, Ben Silver, were expecting their first child. "Ben and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby at the end of this year," she said at the time. "We are absolutely overjoyed and can't wait to meet our little one!" She went on maternity leave back in November, welcoming their baby boy just a few weeks later.

"Thank you to the lovely couple in the park who took this picture for us: Taken as I was in early labour on my due date. The next day Ben and I welcomed our baby son into the world," she wrote. "Franklin Wolf Silver born on 30/11/19. He’s changed our lives for the better in every way. I feel like I’ve known him my whole life".
