Meghan Markle shares behind-the-scenes look at her fashion range

Meghan Markle has shared a behind-the-scenes look at her upcoming clothing collaboration with Smart Works.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Instagram account, @sussexroyal, shared a sneak peek at the collection on Wednesday evening. The footage showed the mum-of-one meeting and greeting the woman taking part in the photoshoot for the range, which will hit shelves in autumn. They captioned the clip:

“Behind the scenes… "A sneak peek at the new @SmartworksCharity capsule collection shoot, ahead of the autumn launch. “An initiative supporting the Smart Works collective which will equip women entering the work force with the key work wear essentials they need.”

Last month, it was announced the Duchess of Sussex has teamed up with a number of leading retailers including Marks and Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw for the range. Misha Nonoo, one of Meghan's close friends, is the fourth brand coming on board and as fans of the Duchess will know, she regularly wears Misha's designs, most notably for one of her first public appearances with Prince Harry. Proceeds from the fashion line will go to Smart Works, a charity that helps unemployed women with job opportunities, including interview preparation and styling sessions. Before a job interview, Smart Works provides a two-hour session that consists of two parts, assistance with choosing a free outfit suitable for a job interview and a coaching session to prepare for the interview itself. The Sussexes official Instagram account confirmed the news, explaining how the Duchess had been "move by the impactful work" being done by the non-profit organisation. They wrote:

"We are proud to be supporting a very special initiative this autumn for @SmartWorksCharity! "After quiet visits to Smartworks over the last year, The Duchess was moved by the impactful work being done by this non profit organisation that helps women into the workforce, equipping them with both the skills and clothes they need to feel job-ready. "Throughout her visits she noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items and colours which weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily “suit” the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview."

"As a result, launching this autumn, The Duchess will be supporting a collective to help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace. "This initiative is supported by four generous brands who share the vision to empower the women of Smart Works to look and feel as they bravely venture in to what can often be a daunting environment for those who have been out of the job market."
