Back in 2008, we were presented with the single most important coming of age tale of all time: Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging.
Starring Georgia Groome and none other than actual Aaron Johnson, the film set the bar for the teenage romcom in ways that other offerings simply could not.
There was cringing, there was frustration, and there was, of course, a lot of snogging.
There was also a lad called Dave The Laugh, which is an incredible name for a 14 year old boy from Eastbourne, but listen.
Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging brought us heartaches, it gave us laughs, it made us glad that we were never forced to dress up as a stuffed olive in public – and now, it’s coming to Netflix.

The film will be dropping onto the streaming platform in June, along with a decent amount of other classic watches including No Country For Old Men, Being John Malcovich, and Dreamgirls.
The Holiday is also being added, and yeah it’s a Christmas film and yes, June is probably a strange time to add a film like that but honestly, we’ll still watch it.
This comes just a few weeks after Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging star Georgia Groome gave birth to her first child with partner Rupert Grint.
The pair have been dating since 2011 and confirmed that they were expecting their first child earlier this year.
