Dead To Me will be back for a third and final series

Dead To Me is alive for another season and we couldn’t be happier about it. The only bad news is this season will be the final season for the Netflix dark comedy that has been a hit on the streaming platform.

If you’ve seen the show you will know that you you never quite know how an episode is going to end, the twists and turns are so brilliantly written and the dark comedy throughout keeps everything extra entertaining.

The show’s creator Liz Feldman worked very closely with the two lead actresses, Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini who make a brilliant duo in the series and will have you hooked from the first episode.

After the news was announced by Netflix yesterday Christina Applegate tweeted: “I will miss these ladies. But we felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women.

“Thank you to all the fans. We will be getting back to work when it is safe to do so. Much love.”

Feldman, the show’s creator, released a statement along with the announcement that the show was coming to an end.

“Dead To Me is exactly the show I wanted to make,” she said. i”It’s been an incredible gift. Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human.

“I’ll be forever indebted to my partners in crime, my friends for life, Christina and Linda.”

Yesterday it was announced that the series will start filming again when it is safe to do so, but this will be the last season.

Feldman will continue to work on more shows with Netflix. Jane Wiseman, Netflix’s VP of comedy series said:
