Always topical, Baby Shark bring out a new hand washing song for children

Melissa Carton

A Baby Shark TV show is coming to Netflix and you'll never know silence again

Is there nothing Baby Shark doesn’t think of?

If you’re a parent there’s no doubt that you’ve heard of Baby Shark.

I made it a good long while before a relative played it for my kids but now I’m a Baby Shark dance routine expert. ‘Run away, do, do, de, do’, if only I could Baby Shark, if only I could.

Saying that it is a handy thing to pop on when my toddler is cranky and to be honest a prefer it a lot better than Peppa Pig.

You’ll probably have noticed that there are several variations on the Baby Shark video but a brand new one has just been added to the mix and it’s actually very educational.

Yes, on the pulse of topical issues as always the Baby Shark creators have come out with the new song to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

How exactly are they doing that?

By teaching children how to wash their hands correctly.

One thing we know for sure is that washing your hands correctly with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds is one of the best ways to help stop the spread of the virus.

The global pandemic is a very serious issue but as parents it’s important that we teach our children about COVID-19 without frightening them.

The Baby Shark handing washing song is a great way to do that as it’s fun and contains characters already familiar to them.

Their have been many hand washing songs doing the rounds lately but I  think when it comes to getting children informed Baby Shark is a clear winner as it’s already a global sensation.

The hand washing song has already amassed over two million views and is a fantastic way for all the family to get washing their hands the right way.
