A new Jo Malone scent launches in September and it is FAB

Having had a sneak peek of the latest Jo Malone collection, I can tell you it is absolutely gorgeous.

Fans of the much-loved perfume brand tend to have their favourite scents and it can be tough to tear yourself away from a perfume that you've loved for years...we see you, Pomegranate Noir ladies. Honeysuckle & Davana will delight anyone who loves a floral fragrance but there's an unexpected edge to this one and I adore it. It's been described as sunshine in a bottle and the thought of carrying summer into autumn is something I'm very much on board with. A word of warning though, you'll want to keep this one on the highest shelf of the bathroom because mamas, this is purely a treat-yourself purchase. Combining sweet honeysuckle and davana - an aromatic herb FYI, and moss might not seem like the most attractive combination but this is a wearable fragrance that will surprise you. Chatting about the inspiration for the new launch, master perfumer, Anne Flip, said:

"The brief was to capture the exact scent of honeysuckle, which we were able to do thanks to the headspace we created in the Cotswolds. We added an unexpected twist to this very English ower with davana, moss and patchouli, turning it into a modern chypre".

The collection includes a 30ml cologne for €54, a 100ml for €109 and a candle priced at €52, in keeping with the other members of the Jo Malone family. In other news, a limited-edition Lime, Basil & Mandarin Body and Hair Oil (€50) is on sale right now but only while stocks last. It's the perfect holiday product as it conditions both your hair and body which basically means there's more room to pack other essentials. Kids require multiple changes of clothes for a week away not to mention toys and unfortunately, that means fewer beauty bits for us. Thankfully, this product is a must-have for saving suitcase room.
