If you’re looking to invest in your skincare routine ahead of the winter months, you need to try this Dermalogica product.

Dermalogica’s Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream (€83) is a moisturiser I can personally recommend and is one I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

I loved it so much, it made my skin feel amazing, soft, hydrated and smooth without that heavy, greasy feeling you can sometimes get with other, richer moisturisers.

I was genuinely so sad when I reached the end of the bottle, and my skin has definitely noticed its absence over the last ten days or so.

Designed to help preserve collagen and elastin while delivering intense hydration, the lightweight water cream is particularly suited to skin that needs a hydration boost and a little extra bounce.

It's a great option for anyone who doesn't like the feeling of a very thick face cream but needs a serious hydration hit.

The brand itself suggest this cream for:

  • Dehydrated skin
  • Early signs of skin ageing
  • Skin lacking bounce + plumpness
  • Lightweight daily hydration
  • Supporting skin’s future collagen resilience

According to the Irish website it’s been engineered to be “intensely hydrating water cream helps plump and preserve collagen and elastin, supporting skin’s resilience and barrier strength for visible bounce - now and into the future.”

The product page describes it as “a peptide complex with Collagen Amino Acids, Zinc Glycinate, Carnosine Dipeptide, and ultra-hydrating Jojoba Ester fights oxidative stress to help delay signs of skin ageing.

“Extremophilic Red Algae works with White Clover to visibly firm and smooth skin. Infused with mineral-rich marine spring water, our water-burst technology activates on contact to deliver moisture-rich multipeptides and humectants for deep hydration.

“Biofermented Radish Root Extract locks in moisture and strengthens skin’s protective barrier.”

And it’s not just me singing its praises. Customer reviews on Dermalogica’s website highlight its hydrating formula and lightweight texture, with one reviewer describing how their skin felt “softer and more hydrated” after a couple of months of use.

Another praised its silky finish and the glow it left on their skin.

With customers also praising how quickly it absorbs, it’s easy to see why this moisturiser has earned a place in so many skincare routines.

For me, the real test is whether I’d buy a product again and this one is a definite yes.

The clinical results also speak for themselves. It has been clinically proven to boost collagen by 44% + elastin by 56%, to boost collagen by 44% + elastin by 56% with visibly reduced fine lines + wrinkles in just 3 days.

94% of those who trialled the product also saw a smooth, glass-skin finish and long-lasting hydration as well as smoother, more luminous skin in 24 hours.
