This new and lightweight foundation is perfect for applying on the go

Cathy Donohue

Does anyone else change their usual base for a lightweight foundation during summer?

I adore NARS Radiant Longwear liquid foundation but for summer I want something that doesn’t take as long to apply and that I can simply use in the areas that need coverage.

A product that does the job of a concealer but allows for extra coverage like a foundation, the perfect combination really.

Impossible you might think but listen up because I’m a newfound devotee of Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick SPF25.

The new foundation stick is the perfect product for on the go and the lightweight formula is ideal for this time of year.

Bare Minerals are all about clean beauty and as the vegan life becomes more popular than ever, this will appeal to those overhauling their makeup routines.

Coverage is described as medium but buildable and possibly the most inviting advantage is the fact that it’s “never cakey”.

Having put it to the test for over a week, I can safely say I agree and the best part is you can apply this in record time, a must for busy mums who are always on the go.

I’m also a big fan of how this foundation stick is perfect for touch-ups, liquids and powder are far too awkward to apply when you’re in a rush.

The product is made up of 30 percent mineral water and the fact that it includes an SPF of 25 is also a major plus.

It’s priced at €33 and available to buy now from Brown Thomas, Debenhams, and the Bare Minerals website.
