Of course, just because you're a mum most certainly does not mean that you have to drink alcohol. However, many parents will attest that a large, chilled glass of something at the end of a long week is something to be savoured.
Thus the news that Aldi is holding a massive wine sale that all kicks off on Thursday, August 3, has been warmly received by us here at HerFamily.
The supermarket reassured us that its "experts have searched the globe to find a range of exceptional wines that are perfect for summer drinking".
Some bottles are from well-known regions, others from well off the beaten track. Prince start at just €6.99 for an exceptional Hungarian white, and go up to €19.99 for a stand-out bottle of bubbles from New Zealand.
In total, there are six whites, five sparkling wines, and 12 reds wines on sale.
