Cork’s Greenes Restaurant is offering a delish five course lunch for Mother’s Day

It can be difficult to know what to do once Mother’s Day comes around.

If you’re looking for somewhere special in Cork to bring your mam for Mother’s Day then you may want to check out the fabulous Mother’s Day lunch special at Greenes Restaurant.

Located in Cork’s Victorian Quarter this special Mother’s Day Five Course Lunch Tasting Menu is the perfect way to spoil your mum!

I love visiting Cork but unfortunately I won’t be able to pop down to this amazing lunch this Mother’s Day, but that’s no reason that you shouldn’t.

For Mother’s Day the menu has been designed exclusively by executive head chef Bryan McCarthy and will only be available for the weekend of Mother’s Day, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22.

As an extra treat, all mothers enjoying the special Mother’s Day menu at Greenes will be given a glass of bubbly to enjoy with their meal. Yes please!

Diners can expect dishes such as Ardsallagh Goats Cheese with Texture of Pear, Walnut, Leek Ash, Spelt Crisp; Fillet of Monkfish with Roast Cauliflower, Romanesco, Sea Beets, Moqueca Sauce; Seared Flat Iron and Glazed Blade Beef with Onion, Wild Garlic, Potato, Red Wine Jus; and Chocolate Fondant with Barley Ice Cream, Salted Caramel, Chocolate Tuile.

A wine pairing option is also available for diners which is carefully selected by Greenes’ manager and sommelier Frank Schiltkamp, the perfect gift for any foodie.

The cost of the Five Course Mother’s Day Lunch Tasting Menu is €45 euro per person and is available on Saturday 21 and Sunday, March 22 from 12:30pm to 2:15pm.
