Would You Drink To This? Company Launches ‘Skinny Prosecco’

HerFamily

Prosecco is still the drink that everyone is talking about. Its popularity grew massively last year and it does seem to be replacing champagne as the celebratory drink of choice.

But, as with most pleasures in life, it’s not something you should consume in abundance due to its alcohol level and calorie count.

However, UK company Thomson & Scott has created something that could make you feel a little less guilty sipping your favourite drink.

Following on from their ‘Skinny Champagne’ product, they are now selling ‘Skinny Prosecco.’

According to The Drinks Report, a 100ml glass contains just 67 calories and half the sugar that a normal glass of Prosecco contains.

This world first will set you back £108 (that’s for 6 bottles) but it is organic and vegan-friendly.

As with everything, we think this is a great idea for those who want to cut back on their sugar consumption (we are fond of a skinny latte or two).

But then again, when we’re popping open a bottle of Prosecco, it’s usually because we want to indulge!
