According to asset manager of Killultagh Estates - the company behind the Connswater shopping centre - Laura Mc Carthy said the new outlet will be the first of its kind in Ireland:
"The decision by Starbucks to choose Connswater as its first location in Northern Ireland for a drive- through store demonstrates the confidence that retailers have in the scheme and its strategic location in east Belfast."The drive-thru concept is gaining momentum across the country, with Ireland's first drive-thru coffee shop opening last year on the Dundrum Road and a drive-thru pharmacy opening in Waterford. Fingers crossed Starbucks will roll out their handy caffeine window to a town near us.
