A London supermarket is launching a FREE prosecco pop-up and we’re there

Flying to London for prosecco might at first seem extreme... but on closer examination and inspection we reckon it's perfectly justifiable to get away from the kids for a couple of days.

Yes, 'tis the season and the arrival of a pop-up prosecco bar filled has made us feel all festive and cheery inside. Located in the Pall Mall area of the city (five minutes from Trafalgar Square; the nearest tube stations are Piccadilly Circus or Charing Cross), it's all being hosted by Sainsbury's and runs for a total of three days from December 7 to 9.

Entry is FREE - which means demand is going to be sky-high. And as well as the range of Sainsbury’s sparkling wines (available by the glass and the bottle at ‘temptingly tasty prices’, according to the supermarket) there will also be a selection of seasonal platters on offer: think meats, antipasti and speciality cheese. Each booking gets you an hour and a half at the bar and is limited to a maximum of six people. You can get your tickets here.
