McDonalds have announced some VERY exciting news for McMuffin fans

Katie Mythen-Lynch

For some it’s a hangover cure. For others, it’s a 1,000-calorie guilty pleasure only indulged in once a year, but whether you’re a fan of the McDonald’s Breakfast or not, it could soon be a lot easier to get your greedy hands on.

The problem with the Maccy D’s breakfast, you see, has always been the strict 10.30am cut-off, when the Egg McMuffins, pancakes, sausage and hash browns vanish in favour of fries and burgers.

That could all be about to change however, now that the pioneering people at McDonald’s restaurants in Australia are rolling out all-day breakfasts.

According to McDonald’s Australia chief marketing officer Mark Lollback, the restaurants are bowing to customer demand and offering breakfast dishes 24/7:

‘Macca’s restaurants across Wollongong and the Illawarra (excluding food court kiosks) will be serving breakfast favourites including the Bacon and Egg and Sausage and Egg McMuffins, Hashbrowns and Hotcakes 24 hours, seven days a week,’

Now. What do we have to do to make this happen in Ireland?
