Mermaid croissants are now a thing and they’re almost too good to eat

Just when we thought we'd hit peak mermaid, the mermaid croissant comes along.

We've seen mermaid toast before but this is a whole new take on breakfast foods with an underwater theme. An Australian company has come up with the mermaid croissant, which puts the traditional French pastry to shame. Complete with a vibrant pink filling, these croissants come in a blue shade with edible gems on top of green icing. Just to give you an idea of how it might taste, the filling is candy floss flavour. Excuse us while we drool.
