The Milkshake Is Having a Moment and Here’s a Recipe To Celebrate

Milkshakes seem to be having a moment so we’ve decided to celebrate it this weekend (the good weather also inspired our plans). We searched Instagram to find the most delicious milkshake recipe we could find and this is it, created by Kelly's Food Blog and shared by vegfoodvideos.

To make the chocolate version, you need… For the cookie bases:

• 2 cups of oats
• ½ cup of nuts of your choice
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• 4 tbsp maple syrup
• 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
• 1 tbsp cacao nibs
• 1 tbsp water as needed

For the ganache filling:

• 3 tbsp cocoa powder
• 3 tbsp maple syrup
• 2 tbsp coconut oil melted

For the milkshake:

• 3tbsp cocoa powder
• 3 tbsp maple syrup
• Chilled coconut milk

  What to do… For the cookie bases:

1. Pulse all ingredients together.
2. Press into muffin trays moulds and freeze 10min.

For the ganache filling:

1. Mix together until smooth.
2. Sandwich cookies together with ganache and drizzle any extra over the tops.
3. Chill to set.

For the milkshake:

1. Mix cocoa and maple to make chocolate sauce.
2. Drizzle into glass and fill with coconut milk.
