M&S’ Colin the Caterpillar has gotten a festive upgrade this Christmas

It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas - especially now that M&S have revealed their brand new range of Christmas food for 2019. We must admit, we are especially excited about the festive version of their iconic Colin the Caterpillar cake, you know the one – that most of us no doubt served at a The new launch combines the classic chocolate sponge roll with chocolate buttercream covered in milk chocolate. And just look how festive he looks!

For his Christmas makeover, cute little Colin has been adorned with a range of festive decorations, including candy canes, holly leaves, snowflakes and even a Santa hat.

The extra adorable version of Colin will be launching in M&S stores on December 14th and is prived at €15.

As well as the cute new Colin cake, the clever people at M&S have also launched 19 other items in their much anticipated Christmas range for 2019. But cakes aside, fans – and gin lovers – are already buzzing over a beautiful Clementine Gin Gold Liqueur Snow Globe.

M&S themselves are calling this beautiful bottle the "gift of the season", and reveals how it comes with floating 23-carat edible gold leaf pieces. For the non-meat-eaters among us, this Christmas as M&S also sees several vegan options on offer, including pigs in blankets made from plant protein and a festive vegan sandwich with sweet potato, chestnut and cranberry roast.

Speaking about their new Christmas food range, M&S said they created the range this year based on feedback from over 80,000 customers.
