Chef says we’re cooking sausages wrong, but his way takes a LOT of time

We love a good fry.

Whether it's when you have a hangover or just on a regular Saturday morning, a fry is hard to beat. A few eggs, rashers, sausages and whatever else you want to throw in will make up a lovely (and very tasty) meal. However, a top chef has come out to say that we're cooking sausages wrong... and we honestly don't think we'd have the patience to cook them the 'right' way. Chef and blogger Martin King (no, not the weather man) believes that we shouldn't just throw everything into a pan and hope for the best. Nope, Martin thinks the perfect way to cook a sausage is by frying it low and slow. Low and slow... for 30 minutes. He said: "Cooking them for a long time at a low heat is going to cook them through sufficiently, allow for the fat to render and caramalise in the pan and with no worry that they're going to turn into boot leather. "If you're looking for delicious, then this is a winner." We'd rather blast the heat and have them nice and dark in 10 minutes flat, tbh.
