Simply 'drop' them into a mixing bowl and the scale senses how much you've added by weight. It also tells you to stop adding and will move you on to the next step so there’s no need to touch the screen with your sticky baking fingers. The handy app offers everything from recipes to smart scaling, which allows you to reduce or increase the size of your recipe, as well as a timer and a social sharing aspect so you can share recipes or pictures of your creations. To make life easier still, Drop will be launching a new simple substitutions element to the app, offering alternatives for certain ingredients so you’ll have no more need to frantically search “substitutes for cream of tartar” mid-bake.
