There’s a pretty good reason why you should buy prosecco on THIS date

Whether it's your pre-dinner tipple, or pre-drinks go-to, it sure to liven you up on Christmas Day, and feel the merriment all around. However, if you want to make sure that you will indeed be drinking the sparkling wine over the festive period, then you should buy a bottle before December 22. Why? Well, Sainsbury's did some research and worked out that this year it's expecting to sell a record-breaking number of bottles of prosecco on Saturday December 23. The exact number? 489,000 bottles. Sainsbury's notes that there will also be a mad rush in large supermarkets such as Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and more. If we were you, we wouldn't risk it and stock up before or on December 22!
