This recipe for tasty prawns with chilli sauce is a fail-safe addition to your recipe repertoire. Ideal for a summer starter, these fishy treats can be rustled up in minutes and popped in the fridge to marinade.
This recipe makes 4 portions.
Ingredients
- 300 g cooked peeled prawns
- 100 ml finely chopped onion
- 2 skinned, unseeded, chopped tomatoes
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼-½ tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tsp Siúcra Icing Sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 100 ml chopped parsley
Method
- Mix the prawns with onion, tomato, salt, pepper, icing sugar, lemon juice, oil, chilli sauce and parsley.
- Place in the fridge and allow to draw for at least 1 hour before serving.
