Very clever.
When Christmas time gets closer, I get excited about festive baking.
Every year when I was growing up, I would help my aunt make a Christmas pudding from scratch and I loved it.
Now that my children are getting old enough to help me in the kitchen, we’ve been trying out different recipes – most recently gingerbread.
Gingerbread is pretty synonymous with Christmas from gingerbread men to gingerbread houses.
At the moment I’m not quite brave enough to try building a gingerbread house but we have made men because I have the cookie cutter.
Little did I know that we could actually have been making gingerbread reindeer and it would have been so easy.
How have I never thought of this before?
So simple but it creates the perfect festive cookies.
Flip your finished gingerbread men upside down to create amazing reindeer gingerbread biscuits.
After your gingerbread has cooled, create all of Santa’s reindeer from Rudolph to Prancer with icing for your Christmas party or even a family night in front of the TV.
Even better why not leave one out on Christmas Eve for the main man himself?
He’ll be so impressed it will right up on his Santa Instagram, I’m telling you.
