Good Morning Britain viewers have said they think a mum's children will be bullied because they're still being breastfed.
UK mum Emma Shardlow-Hudson appeared on the morning TV programme today to defend her decision to continue breastfeeding her children, ages two and five-years-old.
She said she sometimes nurses her kids - Ollie and Alex - at the same time because they don't "know any different."
The mum-of-two said that most people she knows don't think anything of the way she feeds her children.
Emma also said she has no intention of "not letting" her children grow up, saying “No, gosh not at all I am quite happy for her to grow up.”
Viewers, however, thought that the 29-year-old's children were going to be bullied.
"For goodness sake woman, 5 years old is taking the whole breast fed thing too long! Opening her up for abuse from others! Theres no health benefits at this age!" argued Filrv5 on Twitter.
Another user, Julieschatworld, said: "

Broken Angel asked: “Sorry why is she posting pics of her children breastfeeding . The children will be embarrassed in their teens something should remain in the comfort of their own homes not plastered on tv."
According to the
HSE, mothers are advised to breastfeed exclusively for six months until solid foods are introduced, and then to continue for up two years or beyond.
Other than that, there are no hard and fast rules about when mums should stop.
