We are always joking about wine o’clock but it seems that there is an actual time when people think about their favourite beverage.
According to The Express, a study showed that 6pm is the time at which most people either buy or start talking about wine online.
While this isn’t exactly surprising, considering it’s the end of the work day, what was surprising was the figures were highest on a Tuesday (as opposed to the end of the week).

The research was conducted by online retailer Laithwaite which looked at internet data and their own sales in the UK.
It was also found that women were more likely to be purchasing a few bottles or reaching for a glass than men.
Now, back to counting down the hours to wine o'clock...
