YES! Brown Thomas is launching a chocolate afternoon tea

Making Wednesday much better, Brown Thomas has launched the Godiva Afternoon Tea Experience and it sounds unbelievably delicious. From January 17 to April 1, you'll be able to experience the chocolate-themed afternoon tea and just wait until you hear what the treats are. Godiva is renowned for its delicious chocolates and so it's only fitting that there's a vast array of dessert delights on offer including chocolate chip scones, white chocolate and pistachio pearls, chocolate and raspberry truffles, white chocolate crème brulèe and lemon meringue tartlets. That's enough to satisfy any sweet tooth but savoury tastebuds are also catered for with Johnny Cooke, a well-known chef, dreaming up a menu with avocado and shrimp bruschetta, Medjool dates with crozier blue goat’s cheese and walnuts and Caprese tomato with buffalo mozzarella and basil crostini. So, if you're in need of a girls day out, and the opportunity to indulge in some time to yourself after the Christmas madness, get this in your diary. The Afternoon Tea Experience is priced at €35 but you can add Veuve Clicquot champagne if you so wish, starting at €47.50. It starts on the 17 January and runs through until April 1 with bookings available from 3 pm - 6 pm daily, see you there!
