It's the ultimate girls' day out for a good cause, says Sharon Dagg, CEO of The Down Syndrome Centre.
"Most people can’t get over the style and prices and end up going home with a bag full of bargains and a new wardrobe for the year ahead," she told us. "It’s a great girl’s day out and guilt free shopping because you’re supporting a great cause."Buy My Dress has over the years raised over €500,000 for The Down Syndrome Centre. The organisation, based in Sandyford, supports over 200 children and their families each week. Anyone can donate a dress to Buy My Dress - simply freepost it to the Down Syndrome Centre (Unit 1, 88/89 Furze Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18) or bring one along on the day. The event takes place this Saturday at Dublin's Radisson Blu from 11am to 5pm, as well as at the Clayton Hotel Cork City, Galway's Radisson Blu and O’Loughlin’s Hotel in Portlaoise.
