Balenciaga’s new skirt is absolutely horrific

If you've never felt like a door (car) mat before, then you will now.

We're used to Balenciaga missing the mark on clothing trends, and saying missing the mark is almost too polite. Only last month they showed off their pants/boots hybrid monstrosity and in April they tried to pass off a blue bag that was the exact same as an Ikea sack. Now, they're back again and this time they're channelling a motoring theme. Their new skirt literally looks like someone has wrapped their car mat around their waist. To top it off, it costs $2,220. Everyone has made that comparison.
