My favourite season is here.
Strange, maybe, as I am born and raised in Norway, the land of mountains and skiing and postcard-perfect snowy landscapes – but without a doubt, my favourite season of them all is summer.
In fact, I would go as far as saying that I could happily live out the rest of my life only ever seeing temperatures over 25 c, bright sunny mornings and the air heavy with the scent of sun cream and coconut.
I am
all about summer.
Which is why, perhaps, I am so obsessed with all things sun care. Having written about beauty and wellness for a decade, I have interviewed enough dermatologists and skincare experts to know just how important it is to protect our skin from the sun. The problem? Not all sun creams are created equal – by far.
I have often found it particularly hard to find sun cream for my face. Most of the time, I have noticed my skin feeling clogged up, too shiny or even breaking out after using some facial sun products. As well as that, many generic facial SPFs can make you look ill with their white undertone.
However, this all changed when I tested the new
