The ground-breaking fashion shoot was styled by Emmanuelle herself and captured by the world-famous photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, who are known for their portraits of some of the world's most powerful women. The photographers also took to Instagram to share some images of Ms Sampaio,
"Deconstructing prejudice. So proud to shoot the first ever cover of Vogue magazine with a transgender model! This is about breaking rules and trying to shine some light in to dark minds!"[caption id="attachment_258352" align="aligncenter" width="475"]
