Imelda May Is Almost Unrecognisable With A Whole New Look!

Dublin singer Imelda May's time as the queen of rockabilly has come to an end. The single mum-of-one has a whole new look and it has to be said she is lookin' fierce well altogether! Imelda has wiped the slate clean after going through a tough split from her former guitarist Darrel Higham. The star thanked Dublin hairdresser to the stars, Dylan Bradshaw, for her new do via her Instagram:

But it's not just her appearance that has taken a new direction, her music has too. Her new single Call Me is a sad and soulful love song, accompanied by an über-stylish black and white video. She says of the ballad:

"Call Me is the first single from a new album I’m very proud of. I've really put my heart and soul into it. I've written more honestly than ever about life and love"

Speaking to the Irish Mirror about her make-over Imelda explained:

"I always loved the Fifties rockabilly style but there was a point where I felt I was almost dressing up as Imelda May. It was as if I was getting into character for a gig. And I didn't want to do that anymore. This is me."
