This new Dublin beauty salon has an adorable ‘mommy and me’ package

The super-instagrammable spot is a girly girl's dream – and, in our opinion, the prettiest place in all the land to get your pampering on. Duchess offers everything from manicures and pedicures, to eyelash extensions, spray tans and even a state of the art sunbed. Our favourite thing? They also have an adorable “Mommy and Me” package, where mums can bring their little ones in for a pamper experience, which includes manis and pedis, a glass of champagne for mum and a fabulous pink goodie bag for the little one. Cute? We think so too! Duchess is the brainchild of beauty entrepreneur Jan Cleary, who, at just 23, spotted a gap in the Irish market for a truly unique, special kind of salon. Not just somewhere to get your nails done, but a genuine beauty experience. “I always wanted to run my own business. I started from a young age working for my parents and learning all about how to manage and operate a successful business," Cleary explains. "After finishing college, the pandemic hit, and that’s when the idea of starting my own salon came about. I googled and searched top salons around the world (and even visited some of them for inspiration). However, I wanted my salon to be nothing like anyone has ever seen before.” The unique and adorable decor at Duchess is sure to impress – from neon angel wings and a flamingo themed bathroom upstairs to the pink moped in the front of the building, nothing is ordinary at this salon. We also love how all of the beautiful pink furniture and fittings throughout the salon were handmade in Ireland. And When opening her salon, Cleary made sure to hire some of the best nail technicians and beauty therapists in Ireland, guaranteeing an unbeatable standard of service – and guaranteeing a memorable visit for you – and your little mini me! Duchess On Duke St is located on 20 Duke Street and is open every day for bookings and walk-ins from 9.30am - 6pm.
