Got some leftover lemons knocking around the kitchen? Want to get your skin looking smooth and summer-fresh? We've got you sorted.
We're taking some time for a little R&R this weekend, starting by making this lovely body scrub – that will not only leave your whole body feeling baby soft but also smelling totally delish!
This is what you need:
1 1/2 cup raw sugar
3/4 cup olive oil
2 lemons
Here's how:
1. Pour the raw sugar in a bowl and add the olive oil a bit at a time, folding in the sugar. Do not mix it too much. You want the sugar and oil to combine completely, but not break down. Stop adding oil when it becomes a thick paste.
2. Grate the zest of both lemons into the mixture. Then squeeze the juice of each, folding it in a bit at a time.
3. Transfer the scrub to a lidded container and it’s ready for your next shower! The lemon will leave a fresh, energising scent on your skin while the sugar mildly exfoliates so always remember to follow up with a moisturiser!
