The versatile M&S dress that will be your go-to on nothing to wear days

We have all experienced the feeling of opening your wardrobe to see lots of clothes and yet somehow, absolutely nothing feels 'right'.

Which is why we were particularly excited when we came across this midi dress from M&S - aka: the answer to that problem (particularly on cold weather days). The denim midi dress - which costs €75- features a fit-and-flare shape, with a belt cinching it in at the waist. You could pair it with a pair of ankle boots and a biker-style jacket - or even a khaki-coloured utility-style one. Or a pair of trainers and a big, cosy cardigan. And it definitely looks smart enough that it could take you from desk to drinks, too. While the midi-dress may be a little on the pricey side, it is also one of those pieces that would never really go out of style - and we definitely know we would have it for years to come. "Perfect your contemporary-cool look on casual days with this minimalist denim dress. A fit and flare shape with a flattering tie waist," the retailer said of the dress. Another piece that has caught our eye lately is this super-comfy looking jumper from M&S, which we are going to be absolutely living in this weekend. The textured v neck jumper from Per Una, which costs €54, features a classic rib knit design and a roomy, relaxed fit. It's one of those pieces that is perfect for the cold-in-the-morning, but-roasting-by-lunchtime days - or, simply, when it is just really, really, really cold out. And we reckon it would go with absolutely everything in your wardrobe - from throwing it on over jeans and a t-shirt to bringing your favourite summer dress into the cooler weeks. It is honestly just ticking so many boxes for us - and we're definitely going to be snapping it up this weekend.
