Our approach to folding is a bit like our approach to packing a suitcase… we start off with good intentions and then we get to a point where we just shove the item of clothing in and pray to God that we can close the drawer.

But in all seriousness, we have found that the art of folding can take a while to master and often falls by the wayside when you have three hungry kids in the house.
However cleaning and tidying guru Marie Kondo claims to have come up with the perfect way to fold a t-shirt and it’s only two steps.
Marie, who has made a living out of her hacks and tips, demonstrates her approach in a YouTube video.
We’re not going to lie, our technique is exactly the same as hers up until the last stage (leaving the collar exposed is a common mistake apparently).
