If you are anything like us, you are a big fan of using micellar water to cleanse your skin.
I mean; it's so handy, takes off all my makeup, and doesn't leave my skin feeling all dry and sensitive, like so many other cleansers.
However, it turns out, I might have been using micellar water wrong this whole time – and honestly, did kind of blew my mind a little.
Instagrammer @justanothermummyblog recently took to the social media platform to enlighten us all as to how exactly we were meant to use this facial cleanser all along – and having used micellar water for years now, I cannot believe this is the first I am hearing of this.
In her short clip, she captioned her video:
"Life hack I learnt yesterday that will blow your mind!
Foam up your micellar water to remove your makeup! Pour into a cotton pad and blow into it!"
In the video, we see her putting some micellar water on a cotton pad. She then places the cotton wool pad on her mouth and blows into it, turning the micellar water into foam!
So by doing this, instead of the rather water consistency we're used to, you get to clean your face with a foam wash – all thanks to the micellar water.
I know! Gamechanger!
Clearly I am not the only one shook by this trick, as @justanothermummyblog's comments quickly filled up with others just as surprised at this hack:
