A 13-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Ana Kriegel.

Gardaí confirmed today that two juvenile males had been arrested in connection with the schoolgirl's death. They were being held in separate Garda stations. A 13-year-old boy has just been charged with Kriegel's murder. https://twitter.com/rtenews/status/1000031171491835905 Gardai say:

"One of the two juveniles arrested in connection with this investigation is expected to appear before Dublin District Children’s Court, Smithfield at 6pm (25/5/2018) charged in connection with the investigation. "A second juvenile male will be released without charge.A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions."

Kriegel was reported missing early last week, with her last known sighting being Monday evening. The 14-year-old schoolgirl's body was discovered last Thursday at a derelict farmhouse just outside Lucan.
