In fairness those animals look very sweet and friendly indeed.
And perhaps they are, but they’re also a bit bold and sometimes a little bit sleazy. The book called If Animals Could Talk by Carla Butwin and Josh Cassidy, imagines what these cartoon animals would say when finding themselves in different scenarios, and some of the undertones and innuendo are absolutely hilarious.
And of course, probably not best suited for little tots.
Twitter user and mum Tiffany posted these hilarious pictures from the book which granny assumed would be filled with charming little anecdotes. Seemingly, it was on the kids table at Barnes & Noble too.
I’m dying. My mom bought this book for my 6 year old and I just called to ask if she had actually opened the book. She hadn’t. ???? pic.twitter.com/inYCEaZKpV

Mum, Tiffany, said on Twitter,
“6-year-old was reading with Dad and said ‘I don’t even know what this means.
“He goes, ‘Did your mom get this as a joke? Is this a serious book?’”
Needless to say, the book had other Twitter users in stitches!
I love this more than anything I have seen in weeks!!!

Save a copy of this thread and include it in the “DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 2029” book package. Also, to be fair, get grandma to write a little note—in her defense! ?
