While traditionally the Friday after Thanksgiving – which in the US always falls on the last Thursday in November – was what was known as Black Friday, many stores are now running sales and offers all weekend, neatly flowing into Cyber Monday, which is the first Monday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
But terminology aside, it is the sales bit that is interesting, and if you are anything like us, you are spending today getting prepped and ready for hitting the shops (online or real) first thing in the morning.
