Sometimes the Internet is a thing of true beauty and big heavy sighs of adorableness.
Yesterday was such a day.
When siblings Grant and Iris Kessler arrived at the hospital where their older sister Olivia was about to give birth to her first baby – a little girl – the youngest of the Kessler siblings were excited to become and aunt and uncle for the very first time.
Clearly seeing one’s sibling becoming a parent is a very special occasion – and 18-year-old Grant decided to show his new niece the respect she deserved on her first day on earth – and boy did he do so in style.

Yes, young Grant Kessler – Uncle Extraordinaire – is clearly ready to embrace his new role like a boss. Wearing his best suit and black skinny tie, the teen sure knows how to dress for a very important arrival.
And when sister Iris posted a picture of her bro to Twitter, writing that he said he was wearing the suit because “First impressions matter,” well, let’s just say it did not take long for the world to fall head over heels for Grant Kessler.
The tweet – unsurprisingly – went viral quickly and has since been close to 130,000 times. Again, not surprising, as this is clearly the cutest thing you’ll see in forever.
In an interview with Buzzfeed, Iris said this was a “totally classic” move by her brother. “He’s always the type to show up to things dressed up, or bring a cake for no reason.”
Now, take note, uncles of Ireland. Look, we know babies aren’t the judge-iest of people, buy hey; there is nothing wrong with looking on point meeting one anyway.
Little Carter Kessler (we can’t even begin to tell you how much we adore this name, by the way!) arrived safe, sound and adorable. And ss for how Grant is handling his newfound internet fame, Iris said, “I can tell he’s kind of freaking out inside. It’s pretty adorable.”
