Enjoy a hand massage in Cork

Ballincollig Family Resource Centre will be celebrating diversity with complimentary therapies including hand massage and acupuncture at their HQ from 10am to 1pm on Friday, March 6th.

Take a workshop in R Data Manipulation at Trinity 

R is an open source language commonly used for statistical computing. There are an estimated 1 million R users worldwide, and that number is rapidly growing. A beginner-friendly workshop on R data manipulation and visualisation will take place in the Auk Room in the Zoology Department at Trinity College on Saturday, March 7th. The 10am to 4pm workshop will be hosted Dr. Natalie Cooper and Kevin O’Brien and attendees must bring their own laptops. Entry €10.

Have lunch for Hope in Limerick 

Bond girl turned property manager and writer Fiona Fullerton will join Hope Founder and Hon. Director Maureen Forrest along with managing director of JJ’O Toole Ltd Vicki O’Toole as guest speakers at a special International Women’s Day event on Friday, March 6th at 12pm in the Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare, Co. Limerick. Tickets €75.

Campaign for peace in Clare 

The Clare Women’s Network is holding its fifth gathering on Bank Place Bridge on Saturday, March 7th (11.30am to 12.30pm) as part of the international ‘Join Me on the Bridge’ campaign, started in 2010 when women from Rwanda and the Congo joined hands across a bridge between the two warring countries.
