To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
When’s it out in Ireland? August 17 on Netflix
What’s it about?
Lara Jean Song Covey has penned a grand, epic love letter to every boy she has ever loved – and then keeps them hidden in a box, never to be read by…well, anyone.
However, things become nightmarish for Lara when the letters are mailed out to all of her crushes – and her love life goes from fictional to totally out of control.

The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters
When’s it out in Ireland? September 21
What’s it about?
Set in rural England post-World War II, the book follows Dr. Faraday – a country doctor called to treat a patient at the lonely Hundreds Hall.
Home to the Ayres family for over the last two centuries, the estate is not in decline – and something doesn’t seem to be quite right about it all.
The family seem to be haunted by something more sinister than a dying way of life, and Dr. Faraday’s life soon becomes terrifyingly intertwined with theirs.

Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy

What’s it about?
Willowdean Dickson, nicknamed Dumplin’ by her beauty queen mum, has always been incredibly comfortable in her own skin. And things have been going really, really well for her.
Until she takes a job at the local fast-food joint, that is – since that’s where she meets Private School Bo, a hot former jock. She’s not exactly surprised to find herself attracted to Bo – but is fairly shocked when he appears to like her back.
Rather than reaching new levels of self-assurance in her relationship with him, she begins to doubt herself. To take back her confidence, she decides to do the most horrifying thing she can imagine: join the local beauty pageant, hoping to show the world she belongs up there too.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald by J.K. Rowling
When’s it out in Ireland? November 16.
What’s it about?
(Technically, the series is based on a book by Newt Scamander – which is why we included it)
The second instalment of the Fantastic Beasts series picks up as the powerful dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald, makes good on his threat to escape following his capture in New York.
And as he kicks off his true agenda – to raise pure-blooded wizards to rule all non-magical beings- Albus Dumbledore comes up with a plan to try and thwart him.
He enlists his former student, Newt Scamander, who readily agrees to help – not quite known the dangers that lie ahead.

Boy Erased by Garrard Conley
When’s it out in Ireland? TBD (but likely in November)
What’s it about?
The 2016 memoir details how when Conely was a 19-year-old college student, he was outed to his parents – and soon faced a life-changing choice.
The son of a Baptist preacher in a small town in Arkansas, he was told that he had to either agree to go to a church-supported conversion program that would “cure” him – or risk losing his friends, family and church.
Conely looks at the complicated relationships between family, faith and community as he tells how he found the strength to break out and search for his true self and forgiveness.
