1. My Old Lady – Netflix
Plot: A New Yorker travels to Paris to sell an apartment he inherited from his father but finds an elderly woman living there who was his father’s lover.
2. Fifty Shades of Grey – RTÉ 1, 9.30pm
Plot:Â A naive young literature student’s life is thrown into turmoil by an affair with a mysterious billionaire. Initially, she is intrigued by his aloof and distant manner, but soon realises he is harbouring dark secrets and desires.
3. F the Prom – Netflix
Plot: Maddy and Cole were inseparable before high school. Then she got popular; he didn’t. But after Maddy is betrayed, she and Cole reunite – to ruin prom.
4. Rush Hour 2 – TV3, 9pm
Plot:Â The two mismatched detectives travel to Hong Kong when terrorists bomb the US embassy and are soon involved in keeping tabs on the prime suspects – high-ranking Triad members involved in an international counterfeiting ring.
5. The Revenant – Netflix
Plot: In the 1820s, a fur trapper struggles for survival to exact retribution against a ruthless mercenary who left him to die along the Missouri River.
