The Dying Game by Asa Avdic

Out on the remote island of Isola, seven people have been picked for a 48-hour test to compete for a top-secret intelligence position.

Among them is Anna Francis, a workaholic mum who doesn’t get to see her nine-year-old daughter often – and a secret from her past that haunts her.

She is tasked with staging her own death, then observing the other contestants from her hiding place in the house to see how they will react to a murderer being among them.

But once they set foot on the island, Anna realises something isn’t right. And when a storm rolls in and the power goes out, they may just have ended up with more than they bargained for.
