Indian parents have been caught on camera scaling the walls of a high school to help their children cheat in their state exams.
More than 600 pupils were expelled from the Vidya Niketan School in the eastern state of Bihar, after the incredible Euronews footage showed adults climbing from windowsill to windowsill to pass answers to the children sitting the exams.
Confirming that bribery and cheating are a ‘huge problem’ in India, State Education Minister P.K. Shahi appealed to parents and guardians to ‘stop cheating to help the government ensure free and fair exams’.
Local parents said they are forced to help their children cheat because of poor education standards, with many claiming their children’s teachers fail to turn up for class.
