

The attempted kidnapping took place in Tralee on September 23rd at 12.30 pm.
"It was traumatising but I feel sorry for her because she obviously wasn’t well," the mum admitted.
It is understood the woman was suffering from mental health issues.
She continued: “The scary thing is that you could think of stuff happening like that in the big cities or big places, like Dublin or Limerick, but you wouldn’t think something like that could happen in Kerry."
The mum stressed that her son was not harmed and he is doing fine, adding that he is "happy out".
The mum warned other parents to be vigilant because you never know what could happen.
"You have to be careful. Nobody is expecting something like that to happen but everyone has to be careful, even with older children," she stressed.
